Dance Recital

Back in May, Courtney performed at her Dance/Cheer Recital at Mountain Crest. She was such a cutie and did a fantastic job! This is the first year that she has taken cheer and she loves going to her class each week. I am so amazed at her progress and what a great little cheerleader she is turning out to be! I am so proud of you sweet girl!

Menu Plate

Just wanted to share a little project I made for all of my friends for their birthdays. I cheated and ordered the vinyl pre cut and installed it on a plate. (I have since designed my own vinyl that I have been using and giving for shower/wedding gifts) I included the easel and a dry erase marker. Oh and some homemade crocheted hot pads to go along with it.
*You might be wondering why my menu doesn't include Monday or Saturday?? Well I don't have my kids those days so what's the point? Typically it doesn't include Sunday either but it just so happened that it was my turn for Sunday dinner! :)

Teacher Appreciation Week

Ok, sorry for the lack of my blogging lately. I've been so frustrated with blogger!! I posted this post a few weeks ago and it just disappeared. Ugh!! I'm going to try harder to keep my little ol blog updated, but I think I've said that before....
The first week in May was Teacher Appreciation Week. The PTA president called me and asked if I would make a poster to hang on the door of Courtney's classroom. Even though I didn't know how I was going to pull it off I agreed to do it and made it happen. I stayed up until 3am to get it done. But as many of you know me... I can't say no and I also couldn't pass up an opportunity to be creative. My Cricut and I burned the midnight oil and came up with this....
I have an obsession with owls lately...
To keep along with the owl theme I decided to make these cute little treats for all of the kids in Courtney's class. Did I need to? Was I asked to? NO!! But, like I had anything else better to do! ;)
I love how they turned out!"Hoot Hoot Hooray for Mrs. Petterborg!"
And finally, a little gift for Mrs. Petterborg. (Yes, this photo was staged, I can't help myself!)
