Saturday Adventure!

We started our Spring Break with a fun-filled Saturday! We decorated sugar cookies in the morning with Hadley and Kenzlie. Clay, Keesha, Jeremie and Breck were our taste testers! They were yummy delicious!

Conner has been infatuated with In-N-Out Burger for several months and has been begging for us to take him there. I promised him over Spring Break we would take him there. So, Clay and the kids and I made the trek to Draper for lunch at In-N-Out. It was pretty good, my favorite was the fresh cut french fries. They reminded me of the french fries that we make when we are camping.
Conner was on cloud nine! Clay was a little embarrased that I was taking pictures in the restaurant. He thought we looked like a bunch of tourists! LOL! I couldn't help it, this was a big thing for Conner and I HAD to document the experience with photos.

After lunch, Clay really wanted to take the kids to The Living Planet Aquarium. I'm so glad he suggested going there because it was amazing! There was so many cool things to see! Especially Court on a frog!? What a crazy girl!

and Nemo! I highly recommend visiting this place. There is so much to see!! I loved it!

Since Conner got to visit In-N-Out, I thought we better do something special for Courtney too. We all benefited from In-N-Out but Courtney deserved a stop just for her, Build A Bear Workshop!! She picked out this adorable bunny...

got her all stuffed up,

gave her a heart, with a kiss from Courtney,

gave her a bath,

and then got her dressed! Look at those cute little underwear! I couldn't resist.

All done! Cute as can be!!! A little spendy, but totally worth it!!

We had such a wonderful time together! I sure wish we had more opportunities to do things like this! Priceless!!!

My Valentine

Ok so I'm more than a little behind posting about Valentines Day, but I was surprised by my honey with this "love"ly package! I thought we had agreed that we weren't giving each other anything considering our lack of funds. But I was pleasantly surprised to get this! The wife to one of the guys that Clay works with was putting these Valentines gifts together and offered to make one for me. It was full of Mary Kay product, a necklace and some chocolates! All of my favorites!! Thanks for making my Valentine's Day great!

Happy Easter

April Fools

I took these flower pictures almost two weeks ago intending on posting about how excited I am for spring to finally be here. I love seeing the colorful flowers peeking from beneath the ground, just gives me butterflies of what is to come. I am so looking forward to warmer weather! Driving in the car with the windows rolled down and the sun roof open, camping trips, mowing the lawn, sunshine, kids riding their bikes, washing the car, pulling weeds... ok I don't really like pulling weeds but I'm a little desperate.

And then..... yesterday this lovely storm rolled in and brought with it a ton of white crap!!! These photos are right outside my window at work! Nice!! So much for spring flowers and egg hunts outside for Easter! And Spring Break starts Monday for the kids, maybe we should call it Winter Break instead! This is NO April Fools joke!!

One of my craft projects that I did for Valentine's Day! Just wanted to share.

My Sweet 7 Year Old

Wow!! Where did the last seven years go? It was just yesterday that this little princess was layed in my arms!! I am so proud of my beautiful birthday girl! I love you more than words can say and I am so grateful that I have you in my life. There is not a day that goes by that I don't hear your tender "I love you mumma" on the phone or before I leave for work. Thank you for loving me the way you do. You mumma loves you Zoe Monster!

We started the day hearing your birthday on the radio and then winning the daily birthday prize!!! A free cake from Shaffer House, dinner at Papa Kelsey's, ice cream at Charlie's and a special gift at Hallmark!! How lucky are you??? Thanks Aunt Mary for remembering Courtney and calling her name in to the radio station.
