Happy Birthday Conner!!!

Another one of those "better late than never" posts.
We had a great time celebrating Conner's birthday, we spent the day at our family reunion up Blacksmith Fork Canyon and then came home and had cake and ice cream and opened presents.

Blowing out the candles!! Homemade cake! Yum!!!
I found Conner this Rain Detector and Epidemic book at the Book Table and he LOVED them!! He loves learning things about diseases and viruses, so this was perfect! :)
I also found a little model of a virus. He has unique interests but that makes him who he is and I love that!
There was only a couple things that he asked for for his birthday and one of those things was some cologne. He's getting older now and thinks he needs to smell good. I can't complain, it makes me want to eat him up!! And the hand sanitizer was more of a joke, he is obsessed about the stuff and uses it constantly. You have to kill all of those nasty germs and bacteria!!!
The other request for his birthday was his night vision headgear. He has been watching a show about ghost hunting and wanted to be able to hunt his own ghosts so now he is all set up! Funny kid!!
Gotta have "cool" guitar picks too!!

Happy Birthday my love!! I don't know where the past 11 years has gone but I'm so glad you are mine. I am proud of you and love you more than you will ever know.

Courtney, Cupcakes, Camping, and Kohlerman

Oh boy! Here I thought I was doing better at catching up on my blog posts, but realized this particular post is from July 11th. Yikes!! Oh well at least I'm still creating posts! Right?? Anyway, we took a camping trip up to my Aunt and Uncles property up Blacksmith Fork Canyon and had a great time!! We rode 4-wheelers, ate cupcakes or at least Kenzlie did and loved baby Kohler!!! Wish we could do this more often, it's great family time!

Don't you just love this little guy??? He is too darn cute and so much fun!!

4th of July

Now that it's August, sigh..... I'll post about our 4th of July!! We had a great holiday starting with the Hyrum fireworks. It was a great show and the kids had a blast! Clay bought them these light sabors to play with along with the traditional glow sticks. Crazy fun! We also attended the Logan fireworks but I neglected to take any pictures.

Then of course we went to the Hyrum Parade on Saturday. I'm a little extra proud of the Hyrum Fire Department because my dad is the fire chief. It was strange this year not having dad driving his Brush truck and Conner as his sidekick.

Gotta love the good ol Mountain Crest Marching Band. Apparantly they were spotlighted this year at the Days of 47 Parade over the 24th. Still proud to be a Mustang, even after all of these years.

Courtney was so excited this year to ride with her dance group on the flatbed. Whooo hooo Angie's Dance Academy!! Court was waving away!!!

My dad, the Grand Marshal for the parade this year. And his new sidekick this year, Mom! :) Dad had the choice of a convertable or one with air conditioning and of course he opted for the air so these were his wheels! Nice!

Kenzlie, Courtney and Hadley watching the rest of the parade! What cute patriotic girls!

Field Trip to Willow Park

This should be my final post in trying to catch up from several months ago. Pretty sad that this field trip was before school got out and I'm just now getting it posted. Better late than never! Anyway, I went with Courtney (obviously) to help her class for a field trip at Willow Park. These were my girls that I was to look after.
Mia, Evelyn, Lily and Courtney

The girls had little swans on their name tags so when we found the swans in the pond at the zoo they were so excited!!
They loved the turtles!! So cute!!
Were totally freaked out by the snake!! And SO WAS I!!
My little swans!!
We had such a fun time! Thanks girls!!
