Photography Workshop

As an early birthday present to myself, I took a Photography Workshop with one of my good friends the first weekend of October. It was the best money I have ever spent! I have a nice Nikon digital SLR camera and I knew it could do amazing things but I never knew how to use it correctly. I learned so much about taking photos, how to use our cameras and some photo editing in Photoshop Elements. The workshop was on a Friday and Saturday and on Friday we learned about Exposure Basics and Photoshop. Then, on Saturday from 9-6 we took photos! All day! It was so much fun!!!! We had about 5 beautiful "models" to photograph as well as flowers, fruit, vegetables and many other things. I think I took over 500 photos, not to mention the ones I deleted. I cannot even express how much I learned and how priceless this experience was. Thank you Alexis!!! Here are just a few of my favorites from the day.
